FOOL'S ROLL RULES

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

ALL RULES OF THE ROAD MUST BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED. THE EVENT IS NOT A RACE. IF IT IS DETERMINED AT ANY TIME THAT CONTESTANT'S AVERAGE MILES PER HOUR EXCEEDS THE SPEED LIMITS, OR IF CONTESTANT IS CITED FOR ANY VIOLATION OF ANY LAWS, TRAFFIC OR OTHERWISE, THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE EVENT AND WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.


The entry fee for the Event is $2,500 per person. Note: the fee is not per team, every person on each team must pay the entry fee. The entry fee is not refundable for any reason and refunds will be given at the sole discretion of the Promoter. The entry fee exclusively covers event fees, hotel for 3 nights at the Encore or Wynn Hotel and admission to the victory party on Saturday night. All other fees including incidentals or room upgrades etc. must be borne at Contestant's expense. Two people on each team will share a room.


Contestant agrees to purchase vehicle after signing up for event or within 120 days of the event's start date, April 2, 2025. "Vehicle" is defined as any street legal motor vehicle. Contestant can spend no more than $2000 toward the purchase of the vehicle. The purchase price includes any repairs and/or modifications to the vehicle with the exception of tires and trimmings/adornments. Additional fuel tanks are prohibited. Cars must run solely on stock fuel tanks and fuel lines. No more than one additional five gallon gas can per car is allowed. Vehicle must be registered in the State of Texas and must have passed a Texas State vehicle safety inspection performed between the date of purchase and date of the Event.


Contestant may leave at any time of their choice between 9pm Wednesday, April 7, 2021 and Midnight on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Contestant will "check-in" at a location to be determined to receive their time stamp card. Contestant will "punch-out" at a location to be determined and must stamp and turn in their time card at the end of the event (arriving in Las Vegas).

Every person participating in the event must be registered and agree to pay the entry fee. If Contestant's team includes more than one person, then every person on his or her team must be registered, pay the entry fee, and sign a copy of these Rules and the Waiver. Contestant must sign the attached Waiver before they will be granted entry into the Event. Once Contestant has arrived in Las Vegas they must sell the vehicle to a local buyer. Contestant agrees to place entire amount received from sale of vehicle on one hand of casino table game between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm, Saturday, April 5, 2025.


Contestant must be able to show proof of the transaction. Contestant is responsible for transportation home. Contestant agrees that Promoter may in perpetuity use any name, photo, video, or any other likeness of Contestant obtained and used in connection with the Event. Contestant must provide proof of at least $250,000 of liability insurance for himself and each participant on his team with a date of effective coverage between April 7 and April 10, 2021 upon check-in. Failure to provide proof of insurance will result in Contestant's immediate disqualification from the Event and forfeiture of the entry fee.

The Promoter agrees to provide a $17,500 purse ("the Purse"). The Purse will be split among 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The exact split of the Purse is left to the sole discretion of Promoter. Note: The Prize is contingent upon a minimum number of Contestants to be determined at the sole discretion of Promoter. If, for any reason, Promoter determines that the minimum number of Contestant's has not been reached, Promoter may reduce or eliminate the Prize at his sole discretion.


Promoter agrees to provide notice to Contestant of any reduction in the Prize prior to the commencement of the Event and Contestant may at that time withdraw from the Event and half of the entry fee ($1250) will be refunded.

If any team or participant is determined to have cheated, their car will be towed away and crushed at a salvage yard. Cheating includes, but is not limited to, breaking any rules agreed to above, having over $2000.00 in the cost of your vehicle, harboring un-registered/un-paid people in your car, causing harm to another team, or participants car, etc. A cheater will be determined to have been disqualified at the sole discretion of the Promoter, a refund will not be issued and you will be barred from any events throughout the weekend. Cheating will not be tolerated. If any dispute arises under either these Rules or the Waiver, the Parties agree to submit to binding arbitration in the city of Austin, Texas, conducted on a confidential basis under the rules of Texas. These Rules shall be construed in accordance with and governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to any conflict of law principles.
